In life, you will realize there is a role for everyone you meet. Some will test you, some will use you, some will love you, and some will teach you. But the ones who are truly important are the ones who bring out the best in you. They are the rare and amazing people who remind you why it’s worth it.

I am a people person, so I cannot even begin to describe all of the people who have blessed my life thus far. But I can tell you that each and every person who has come into my life has been there for a reason. If nothing other than to let me know what my value is and that their presence does not add to my value.

We each are able to decide how we get to where we are going. It can be a bumpy road, or it can be a curvy road, or by some lucky chance it can be a straight shot. But if you don’t realize how each of your relationships play into that path, it may take you longer to get to where you are going.

Take a minute today to review who is currently in your life and if they are building you up or tearing you down. Learn to be grateful for each of them and what lesson you learned from having them there. Let those important people make you better today than you were yesterday and better tomorrow than you were today.
