What can I say, some days are harder than others. We all have so much going on in our lives that we are constantly trying to battle the demon that Satan has sicked on us, and yes I truly believe he is trying to draw us away from what we are here to do.

Some days, that struggle is as waking up and realizing you are out of coffee. That is how you started your day, and it just seems to go downhill from there. Other days, it is something even more major, like someone hits you on the way to work, making you late. Satan doesn’t pick just the right thing to throw at you – he throws everything at you – just hoping something sticks!

Often times, we are praying for an answer, praying that Jesus will step in and take the pain away, help us to cope, all of the things. And a lot of the time, our mind gets the better of us and tells us that He isn’t listening, He has better things to do than to look at your little thing that you got going on, but God!

I asked of God but there was silence.
I prayed to God, but there was silence.
I begged of God, but there was silence.
I cried out to God, but there was silence.
Then I was silent, and there was God.

He is always there with us, but until we become still, it is hard for us to hear what He is trying to tell us.

Take a minute today and just Be Still! He has lots to say, but we need to be able to hear what he is saying. He is there, you just have to give Him a chance to speak!
